Tiger Bloom, Molasses and pH
So I only have a liquid pH tester and these ferts discolor my water, I was wondering if anyone who uses tiger bloom or molasses could tell me how it affects your pH, I can get my water to 6 or 7 before adding it in but how big of a change it will it make to the pH and in which direction? thanks!

Be real careful adding epsom salts to the fert solution. It's harder to screw up as a foliar feed.
I'd do the base nutes and water first, then adjust the pH of that, and THEN add molasses. It's a sugar, rather an an ionic substance, so it will affect the pH minimally. If you like, you can alternate feedings between ferts+water and molasses+water. Another approach is to use a carb supplement that is designed for cannabis, and take the guesswork out- but really, just the tablespoon per gallon of molasses that is ALL you need will not mess up your pH.

Tiger bloom usually does a pretty good job trying to adujst the ph of your water. I like to use Foxfarms Ferts and I usually mix my water, ferts, and tablespoon of molasses; then adjust my ph. Its usually not that fair off though. Just a tad of ph down.

Well epson salt scares me, since this is my first grow but i ordered a digital camera and a milwakue ph600 meter for $23 off ebay so i'll be able to use that now, but as i've read use molasses every watering at 1 tbls/gallon 2 weeks into flowering? I heard molasses can cause lockout is this true?
Im in FFOF and got only 1/3 females, which is kind of a good thing cause if you guys saw my other thread they were almost 3 ft going into flowering, but there tied down now, ill put up a log soon!
o and i got 2 white satin and 2 satori that are about 2 1/2 weeks in at 12/12 from seed ( well 1 week veg) any clue when ill see a sex?

I find tiger bloom drops pH like a stone. 2tsp/gallon took a 6.6 pH mixture so low I had to add 2.5 tsp of GH pH up to get the pH back to 6.6!

that's odd, Tiger Bloom doesn't do that with my hydroponic solutions ... that's really odd :wtf: ... now, I'll have to try figuring out 'why not'
