Well I grow in soil and I mix up RO, CalMagMax, some Big Bloom and then the Tiger Bloom in various strengths for feeding during flower.

I'm starting with plain RO water that reads pH of 6.6. I've heard that RO water lacks 'buffering capacity' (whatever that means) so it reacts very drastically to substances that raise/lower pH. Maybe that is part of the reason why the TB has such an effect for me.

I was just told today that if I add the tiniest drop of pH UP to my RO water, it should snap right to a perfect 7.0 pH! I'll have to try that tonight.
FatSean Reviewed by FatSean on . Tiger Bloom, Molasses and pH So I only have a liquid pH tester and these ferts discolor my water, I was wondering if anyone who uses tiger bloom or molasses could tell me how it affects your pH, I can get my water to 6 or 7 before adding it in but how big of a change it will it make to the pH and in which direction? thanks!
