    Could use some advice

I have a question about ventilation. I have one vent (1ftx1ft) located at the ceiling that is directly linked to outside. The room size is 5ft x 2.5ft At this point I know i need to use this vent as my exhaust but also can i use it as natural intake? as the vent is located so high up in the room.

    thanks all

    Well Devion222,

If I were you I would split that vent for intake and exhaust. But what do I know?

5 x 2.5 is not huge by any means, nor is 1 x 1 split in half. It also matters what wattage light(s) you are using in this grow room. If you are using < 500 watts you might be able to get away with splitting in half but I would use the existing vent as an intake and carefully cut a new hole for a blower fun the suck air from (if you do not already have this setup with ducting from your reflector to the hole in the ceiling). I don't know how your setup is but you want to try to find a discrete spot to place the blower fan and then just have ducting go to the (new) hole you cut in the ceiling. this way you can displace some of the sound of the blower fan away from the growroom. :rastasmoke:
