Look for something that is mold resistant in a cold basement. That's most important.
I would never take my plants down below about 65, and even then, only in late flower to force purple. The roots cannot function properly in cold temps.
Also, in a cold environment, add EXTRA PERLITE to your soil. Trust me on this. I may have grown in a cellar at some point in my life... hehhe

Strange problem I am growing in my basement and its quite cool down there all the time, i was wondering if anyone knew what a good strain to grow in a colder room was. I was thinking something like a purple strain because they need the cold for the color or something but anything proven to work in a cooler environment would be helpful. Rating: 5
