greenhouse grow with clones
Hi All,
Here is a picture of the WW I pulled out of the GH she was topped a while ago I don't even want to think how tall she'd be if I hadn't topped her. She took a bit of a beating in the move but nothing serious. The second shot is of the male widow in his hide out. Where's Waldo????lunarose Reviewed by lunarose on . greenhouse grow with clones Hi All, I have grown from seed before with success before but this is the first time I have tried growing clones from a dispensary. I have three one D. OG,one Apoth OG, and one trainwreak. They are in 3g pots with miracle grow garden soil mixed with earth worm casings. They are in a greenhouse. Its awfully hot here so that is my biggest worry for now even with the vents opened and a fan running during the day its still gets close to 100 in there. I'll be posting pictures soon. Rating: 5

luna, I'm glad to hear your mom is doing great!
Your WW's look outstanding too. They look like flippin' ficus trees! I am floored that they are so tall - they really like that greenhouse of yours. I'll be interested to see if that stray bean does well. It must be a strong lil' lady, so I'll expect big buds out of her.
Thanks for the new pictures, as well as the great news about your mom. Take good care out there!

Thanks Jake. Here are some new pictures. The stray bean is growing. Because I wasn't expecting anything from the seedling wasn't even sure it would survive being pulled out and re-potted so I put it in a 5g pot I had sitting around, not an ideal size so most of its energy has been focused on root growth but it should start taking off soon.
The widow I pulled out due to the crowding ended up being a male! I definitely need to have my eyes checked(G) Oh well boys do make good edibles(G) As you can sort of see is huge I put a ruler against its trunk so you can get an idea how tall he has gotten.
The clones are doing great hopefully they will grow for a few more weeks before they start to flower.
The first picture is the baby, the next three are the clones and the last if the big boy.

greenhouse grow with clones
Hi All,
The clones are starting to flower. They are about 2' feet tall now and I'd like to see them veg a little longer so they'll get bigger. Right now we have sunlight for close to 14 hours and frost won't be a problem until Jan. Would using a light so that they get 18 hours of light force them to revert to veg? Do I risk creating a hermie?
Thanks

luna, I'm glad to hear your mom is doing so well. And, I'm happy to hear your clones are starting to flower. I would guess the extra light would put them back into a vegetative state, and although there is a chance of the stress causing them to become hermaphrodites, I doubt they would - I like to gamble though.
It's good seeing some updated pics, even though they are now quite old. It shows I haven't been around for some time, eh? I need to find more time to spend on the board, but work has been wearing me plum out. Take good care out there!

Jake, Thanks my mom is doing great. We got the path report and she had clean margins and lymphs so we are pretty much taking the stand that she is now cancer free. Chemo and radiation are not recommended because of problems with her immune system but overall this is the best case scenario. She's back home and pretty much back to normal.
So here are some new pictures of the girls. I transplanted them out of the 3g pots and into 12gs. As you can see they are growing. The one is something of an oddball throwing out three fingered leaves. The seedling is doing its thing I have a light on it it will be interesting to see if I can prolong my growing season. The last shot is of one of the Swiss Miss's flowering. She looks a tad rough but then this is her second flowering and she is old for not being a mother she was started just before Thanksgiving. But she is tough the seeding came from her.

Thanks. I mostly use FF products about 1/2 strength of what is recomended. I also used superthrieve early on. I also use a mix of soil with "up to 9 months of food" from Walmart plus earthworm casings, perlite, vermlite(SP?) all mixed together.

Oh my what a beautiful grow! Indoor grows intrigue me but in some ways it sounds to my sunny south cali ears so wrong. And I look at my carpeting and it just feels messy(G) But to grow year round now that is a beautiful thing.
