The thing is that plants in nature get at least 14 hours of light and usually 16 during the prime vegging season. So....maybe even just adding two hours might be a good idea just to speed up the process.

Wrong. You need to seperate Indicas from Sativias. As I've said before sativas' mostly grow in equartorial areas. Maybe I'm missing something that you know but I don't here......but they DO NOT get "14 hours of light and usually 16 during prime vegging" in the equartorial regions. Unless someone is giving them supplemental light, which is not natural. The photoperiod you describe happens much further north latitude or much further south latitude.

Maybe someone on these boards who lives near the equator, or has visited there can attest to the photoperiod of the region.

From personal experence from seed to sex can go anywhere from 7 to 21 days depending on the dominant strain.

1-2g would be a very very conservative estimate, most ppl from other forums report 14g-20g per plant

I asked this question too a few weeks ago and had little response so i decided to give it a go..

Fertilizer-fox farm starter 3-3-3/micronutes mixed in top half jamaican bat guano in the bottom half (organics) will also supplement use fox farm tiger bloom at first sign of flowering.

Pots and lighting- started in 3 inch starters under 1 week of 24/0 t-5, Immediately moved to 2 gallon under 400 watt after first set of true leaves.
(Guess this qualifies of 12/12 from seedling?)

Indica/sativa mix bag seed.

I will log this here if you want Rev, since we are all curious or I will start my own thread if my company is not wanted.

all plants are 25 days from seed...the bigger ones were transplanted 3 days sooner so I guess the timing of transplants can play a part in how fast growth occurs...

Im no expert or anything.But I was getting about 5 grams per palnt under 12/12.175 watt hps and 4 6500k cfl bulbs.This time I went with 13/11.What I got was A stick with A giant bud on the end of it....lol.Its not done yet,but I just do this for my own enjoyment,and it does ease A bad back. Also Im only growing in A 2 feet high by 3 feet wide area.
