^^^Rhizome is more an expert on tweaking the method than I anyway. I wouldn't try to fiddle with the light cycle unless you have a compelling reason to hurry your crop up, and that reason is more important than your yield. One reason I could think of off the top of my head is a giant tropical sativa that you need to finish in a reasonable time, before the soil in the pot goes sour, and the plant is already rootbound in in a 10 gal tub in week 8 of a 14 week cycle, and transplanting into a 20 gallon pot and THEN to a 50 gallon drum simply isn't an option! lol!!!

Edit: If your plant is that big and slow, you have other worries anyway!
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Hey Stinky! I got a question for some experienced growers. I have a buddy that tells me I should cut my lights down to 11/13 or 10/14. Is there anything bennifical from doing this. I understand that later in the year the days are shorter, but I didnt think that 10/14 was a good idea. If you think it wont hurt or if anyone has tried it, lemme know what your results were/are. Or if its even a good idea. Thnx, :greenthumb: Rating: 5
