Thanks for stopping by Anbesol, I value your opinion. I was thinking of just hermying 1or2 small lower branches for the seed since this was from some really good smoke. I am going on an extended vacation in Feb. so I will have to complete everything by then (I have relatives watching the house). So I wanted to have some seeds to restart after I get back. Although I just ordered some California Orange and the special mix from Nirvana. I'll save them for the March 09 crop.

Opie, the yellowing is not in the bud pics. It is just on a few of the bigger fan leaves low down on the plant. I don't think it is a big problem but it doesn't look natural. They don't look like they are gradually dying from the plant using them up, they get spotting that spreads to the whole leaf. I'll take some pics of it tommorrow.:smokin:

Here are a couple pics of the fans that are slowly dying, naturally or otherwise.
I watered today, 1/2 gal 6.2pH, with 5ml cal-mag, 10ml gh bloom, 1tsp molasses,5ml liquid Karma. Other than the few fan leaves the plant looks good.

It gives the plant sugar and carbohydrates, so the plant does not have to spend it energy creating them. Helps with the buds

Thanks for stoppin Hydro. Hopefully someday I can have as many crops goin as you do.
I just took 4 of my clones to my cabin and put them outside. I won't be back there for about 6weeks, so we'll see how they do on there own. I fenced them so they don't get eaten by the deer. They get good sun and are on a high spot in the swamp so they should be ok on moisture, we'll see.
No new pics yet because I don't see much new growth, the buds look to be puttin on some weight tho.:smokin:
I'll get some new pics in the next day or 2.

here are a few new pics. I think the auto focus was on the leaves so the bud shots may not be the best. I have to start turning the fan off before I snap pics. the last pic is from 7/20 for comparison.
More clones are finally starting to root.
What are your expert opinions on light or dark to get clones to root. I seem to have better luck getting roots if I keep the lights off most of the time. Otherwise I get veg growth but no roots. At least they don't die. I have rooted clones in the same room so I leave the lights (8-23w cfl's) on them until the lights come on in the flower room then I move them in there and shut the lights off in the veg room. They seem to like that.
    Cheers for now.

time for another little update. Mom is bulking up nicely. Today I transplanted 2 clones. Man they are growing fast, I cut them 7/9 and they are about a foot tall now. I tried to fim them yesterday, we'll see if it was a fim or a top. Moved them into the flower room today. The rest of my clones (15) that were cut on different days are mostly starting to root finally, some have been in the cloner for 4 weeks, they just would not root until I took the light away, and put a dome over them. They still got light from the room, but not much. They should all be ready to go into the dirt in another week.
Just got a 6" cooltube off ebay for $65 delivered, and a 1000w ballast for $125 delivered.(still waiting on the ballast), so I can fill up the flower room once I veg the clones for a little bit.
Thats it for today, I'll have more pics in a day or 2.
