flowering mom

Clones are finally starting to put on some veg. I will probably move them to the flower room as soon as the other clones are ready to come out of the cloner, they will be going into soil. This should be interesting, I will have 2 in soil and 9 in the aero system in flower at the same time.
The moms look like they are coming back strong, but are stretching a bit which was expected.
any comments??

Well, I had to pull the bigger of the 2 plants (male) and his 8 clones.
The plant that is left is doing great though. Her clones have not put out any roots yet, but they are swelling and starting to get the bumps. As soon as they are ready I will put them in the aero system. I think I will veg them until I harvest the mom then I will move 4 of them to the flower room. I think I will take the other 3 outdoors when I go to the cabin next month. I will get them set up outdoors then they are on there own until huntin season when I can check on them more.:stoned:

Thanks for checkin in Opie. I have been reading about your theory on 13hrs of light and I think I will switch them to that today from 12/12. My clones seem to be taking forever to root. They seem healthy and are getting the preroot bumps on them but they have been in the cloner for 2 weeks now. Would this be caused by light leaking into the inside of the cloner??? they seem ok, just taking a long time to root.

Probably not from light, but it should be mostly light-proof to prevent algae and rot. I've had some take over two weeks to root, but if you're seeing the bumps just be patient, roots should follow soon. Higher temperatures mean faster rooting and higher chance of mold or rot. Lower temps mean safer conditions and slower rooting. Without re-reading everything, you didn't take cuttings during flower did you? These are much harder to root.

It probably was the res temp, which was a little low ( upper 60's). Since I moved them to the aero bin they have started to root and look much better.
The mom is looking pretty good. I think the soil mix I made was too hot.(mostly composted manure). I don't think they used very much humus in the compost.
I have flushed it 3 times now and the runoff pH is still over 7. The large fans curl under pretty bad. I have been foliar feeding with 1/4 strength of gh micro right when the lights go on. I'll have pics later, my battery is dead. Thanks again.:stoned:

you can see the curled leaves in the whole plant pics. It seems to point to too much nitrogen. Hopefully this flush will cure it.Maybe I'm just paranoid.

That is a perfect example of what a rootbound but otherwise healthy plant looks like. If you did not JUST do a transplant, and that is left over from previously being in too small a pot, go up to a feed-bucket sized home, which I think is 10gallons.

I transplanted 7-10 days ago, and I went from a 3gallon pot with stones in the bottom to a 5gal bucket with just the soil mix. I have 1/2" holes in the sides of the bucket going 8" up the sides and I don't see any roots in the holes. I am leary of pulling it out of there to check. I think transplanting it up from here will be a 2 person job.
This morning it looks like it is really putting on the buds. If the problem keeps up I will do the transplant in a couple days after it dries out a little. Wait and see for now:smokin::smokin::smokin:

I just went back and looked at the older pics. I didn't realize how much she grew. I still think I will let her dry out a little before moving her unless she starts to get worse.:smokin:
