There's a few things about the world that are bugging to me...

It's good to have a big-picture perspective, but when you are trying to solve something, you need to break it down into smaller pieces and do one at a time. For now I would just acknowledge that many people are stupid, there is a lot of bad spelling, monosodium glutamate and corn syrup are poison, and society is hedonistic --- and then just move on from those things because there is so little you can do about them. Pick one thing, like how to communicate to people about chronic pain, or how to meet people with common interests, or the wild vegetable connundrum, and then break THAT problem down into smaller pieces that you can maybe do someting about.
