Plant Tips Browning?
Ok so my plants have been under 12/12 since 7/2. I watered with the FoxFarm TigerBloom and BeastieBloomz accordingly on 6/30. Now my plant tips have started to brown and curl under. I was wondering if it might be because I over-fertelized or what? I used the FoxFarm soil schedule on their website. Maybe its jus cause the plant is not used to the ferts yet. Maybe a N difencey?
Thanx in advance for any advice. Ill post pics when I get my camera back. Prolly tomorrow or Wednesday.killfrenzi Reviewed by killfrenzi on . Plant Tips Browning? Plant Tips Browning?
Leaf tip brown and curling under, sounds like overfert to me frenzi, the feeding schedules are only guides and have to be adjusted to your particular plants situation (age, lights etc). I'd flush and feed with 1/4 strength nutes next watering.

I've used FF for a few years now, but I give it half-strength, twice a week. (weekly totals are the same as recommended by FF)
With their micros, I give at half the recommended weekly total. (half the recommended weekly dosage, according to the FF schedule)
Did you give her veg ferts or transplant into new soil, just before putting her into flower...then re-fert her with flowering nutes too soon?
Regardless, I would recommend trying their schedule, minus the B Bloomz, and see if the results are more to your liking, then if you want, start the additives (B Bloomz) at 1/4 to 1/2 dose, and see what happens.
Do you use any other additives for flowering that may interfere with the nutes or ph? (Superthrive, CalMag Plus, molasses, uncomposted coffee grounds...?)
