After a few years on the sidelines Im getting back into growing. I plan on setting up a grow using a roughly 6' x 6' x 6' grow tent. I have spare lights lying around the garage, 1000w MHs and 600w HPSs.

I remember that the MH is better for veg and the HPS for flowering but I cant work out how many of these suckers I should be using on my plants.

My second question is I am still yet to get my exhaust fan and charcoal filter. Can anyone advise on what size I should be using for a grow of this size?

Finally, Ive seen those cooling tube thingies to put your lights in and it passes air past the lamp continuosly and reduces the temps the plants are exposed to, are these worth the money? also Im not sure if they are available in a size big enough to fit my big football shaped MHs?
