FedEx Delivery to Wrong Address Nets Large Bust

My sister has worked at U.S.P.S. 35 years--it is big time federal issue! don't know the specific's, sure someone else does. Never use U.S.P.S.!

The U.S.P.S. has special stations for the dogs to sniff and take care of packages; plus lots of federal guards--and those guys don't mess around. The walk with weapons. I couldn't imagine working in an environment that the security (your Gov't employer) has guards with guns, to take you out and not save and protect me! Ick:hippy

It really pisses me off when people open and snoop ( even without opening): If it ain't yours it ain't yours-leave it alone or tell the owner to remove it, immediately)-better yet, return it.

Talking of Fed Ex, I heard to ship to a P.o Box with no return address?
How well could you wrap anything to not be detected?

Bet by the stuff this seiz arrived at the Station it was a few nugs short!!! lol:hippy:

A PO box sounds scary to me. Because someone would have to go there and actually pick it up...not sure really how PO boxes work as i have not used one, but wouldn't one need to show an ID to set one up, and do they have them at places other than the USPS?

Here's a made up scenario. Person <A> sends an overnight package using phoney names to person <B>. It is sent "signed for" so the receiver<B> does not need to sign for it, and it will be left on a doorstep. The receiver then takes it inside and just leaves it there. DOES NOT OPEN IT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE HIS NAME ON IT. Wait a few days, if someone storms your house let them know that you were on your way to returning the UNOPENED package to the UPS or fedex store. They would probably arrest you, but it may stand up in court. Whadya all think?
It would seem the problem would be waiting and not tearing right into it
It all seems like risky business and i cannot believe that someone had the cajones to send 200 lbs!

I know alot about this stuff you have something called plausible deniability. They have to show proof you initiated the package in motion without doing that they have nothing on you. Thats why you always get letters from customs when they catch your seeds or drugs etc. Google plausible deniability its used as a defense for govt officials as well as civilians. Probably one of the easier ways to defend yourself. Everyone uses it even the churches.

    Definition for non government officials:

More generally, "plausible deniability" can also apply to any act that leaves little or no evidence of wrongdoing or abuse.

thanks for sharing you knowledge Confusion. I wonder what they may define "initiating" it? Something as simple as a phone call to the state it was sent from? Or something concrete.

To be honest i do not know. I would think they have to link you to the person who sent the package. In our government your right a phone call to a pay phone or tracfone would in the same state would probably be enough.
