No you missed the point dude.

A Zong needs no downstem because it kinda curls around with it's zig zags. It's still a water filter but the problem is they are big bubbles. That means less filtration.

Ok, so lately i have been getting tired of smoking from the same piece over and over, and i saw some zongs advertised in a local headshop by me and was wondering if anyone owned one, and how well do they work? Do they hit better/worse than a bong? With the zig zag design does it make it harder to scrape and clean the piece?
