How long do your clones take to root?
Any new growth is good. Most people I think make the mistake of over watering clones. Its a lot like starting seeds in soil. Just keep it moist. I use a squirt bottle for the first 2 weeks and just mist the soil 3 or 4 times day.

How long do your clones take to root?
If your clones are sprouting new growth before rooting, they have too much light and too much access to Nitrogen. You want the part above the soil to remain dormant, as the plant diverts energy to rooting.

How long do your clones take to root?
They actually take nitrogen from their lower leaves and use it for new growth. Leave the lights ON, but put them a bit further away.
You can water with tap water, but with rapidrooters you know you are not supposed to water them at all? The way they are sold in the packets is EXACTLY the moisture you would like to maintain. Too wet, and the root zone can get no oxygen, and clones will fail. If they start appearing paler, or FEEL dry, you can give each one just a FEW DROPS of tap water to re-hydrate.
