im gonna be flowering at 16 inches * 1 and a third* because i want a 4 foot plant


can anybody give me a yield? this is like 20 dollar schawg not special potting soil or anything and i takin the best care i know how. ill try to post more pictures to get you guys a better idea once they hit 16 inches and then i will switch from 18/6 to 12/12

im thinking about since they are all sproutz right now

that im going to prolly take them out from their one container with some miracle grow or something, perhaps water with miracle grow tooooo!!!! :O anyways im growing and i have 7 plants ill tell you which turn out to be females and then perhaps i could get an estimated yield

Well Stinkybudz,

You might as well move on to the next question. Only you know the factors that would determine yield. Light size, temperature, feeding schedule, pot size, length of vegetation, length of harvest, ventilation setup and fertilizer determines yield. Enjoy your harvest and keep reading. But what do I know?

Its completely wrong for cannabis....Ive tried it...after a couple of weeks all the leaves looked very strange indeed. They kinda turned into big glossy rubber plant leaves...which is what you want for houseplants...but not for weed...its nutrient blend and ph balance is all wrong

Go online or to a grow shop and get urself some decent food dood !! the right food will give u 'miracle' results...cannabis really does grow like 'weeds' if you give it the right nutrients.

Its hydroponic feed but you can water your plants with it on a soil grow too....its fully ph balanced already so u dont have to worry about all that stuff

It comes in 2 bottles...A and B...u just mix equal parts of A&B in a 10 ltr bucket...then thats ur feed !!

They do sell AQUA VEGA too...this is supposed to be for the vegative stage but ive had great results for years just using AQUA FLORES throughout both stages


As for ur flowering dilemma.....just wait for the plants to 'preflower' then they are ready to go on 12/12...if you dont then ur forcin em too much i reckon...lol....You gotta wait for 'puberty' ya get me

As for the yield?...depends on so many factors....its hard to predict unitl youve done the 1st grow.....take some clones then next time you will know how much your gonna get.

I wouldn't go by the "triple in size" rule 100%. It could double, triple, quadruple... or anywhere in between. Much of it will depend on the strain characteristics.

Does that mean that all 7 are in the ONE container? If so... that may be bad news.

And listen to the others as well. :thumbsup: I've heard of a few success stories with Miracle Grow... but the failures outweigh them by far, from what I've seen.

Um...you do know that you have to mix the Miracle Grow with water before use...right...?
How many pots are being used to raise these 7 plants?
If the number is anything other than 7, you'll run into problems.

The ultimate height formula is ok for a generality, but sativa dominants and indica doms have different growth habits. Sat's usually stretch more, indica's less. If an indica dom, she'll likely double in size (or so) when switched to 12/12.
Depending on the genetics of a sativa, strains can tripple their size, or more. Careful with over-vegging, or be ready to bend-n-tie the stretching branches if they get too leggy.

So MG is the wrong fert, but a hydroponic mix is fine...? I was under the impression that there were different buffers with hydro formulas.
Why not recommend he get the 'right' shit for the job in the first place...? I currently use Fox Farms 3-part for soil, which takes you from seedling to harvest. A 3-part system includes your G-M-B nutes. (1 bottle of each: Growth fert - Micronutes - Bloom fert) Fox Farms even has a 12 week wall-chart reference guide for applying the stuff. Damn near foolproof, were fools not so damn ingenious.

I started-out growing cannabis (many, many years ago) using liquid All Purpose Miracle grow, (soil grows) and with a little adjusting of the fert:water ratio, it friggin' works fine for vegging cannabis. Period. Are the Miracle Grow nutes optimum...? No, but it still provides the nutrients she needs.
Granted, there are those out there that have problems adjusting a fert ratio, and those seem to be the ones that complain the loudest about MG being shit. (or they are simply spouting hearsay) But in a pinch, I still have no qualms about using it if need be. As with any fert, watch your ladies. They'll tell you if you are overdoing it.

It's all a vicious circle...Learn to adapt, adapt to learn. :thumbsup:

p.s. Yield will be approximatelly 1/2 of what you were expecting, and 1/4 of what you need. (Rusty's cannabis corollary #420)

Miracle grow is a great fertilizer. Most of all its CHEAP and EASY to use. I have used it for some time with AWESOME results. Most of the time people follow the directions on the box and thats why they get BAD results. Fertilize once when putting the plant in flower with 1.5 teapsoon of MG bloom. Then once more the same at 4-5 weeks. Then flush and your finished. This is one I did my first time . Now my results are spectacular. The expensive ferts do work, but people, this is a freaking plant, not a science project. The fact is plants need water, NPK, lots of light, and Co2 and some air flow. The enviroment is more important to correct then a fertilizer. You could water with straight water and and nothing else and get better results then if your enviroment was out of whack.
