I'm not sure what you are getting at about feminized being uncloneable; LOWRYDER is because it flowers on age rather than photoperiod, but those are 2 different things entirely. Regular plants from 'feminized' seed, as long as they are not an autoflower that has been feminized, will clone up just fine for ya.

As for force-herming to make a seed backup, those seeds will be feminized 'S1' seeds. That means that it is the first 'SELFED' generation, and since there is no male in the cross, and the 'default setting' for organisms with an XY chromosome sex determination system is female, because you have to have a Y for male, and it only comes from other male organisms, all your seeds will be female.

To answer if that is a good idea, I'll say it's not a bad one at all. I also like to make sure I have backed up my favorite genetics in seed form. What I would suggest is to take clones for your favorite female and flower a very small rooted clone or 2 form her, in something like a large cardboard box under 1-2 small cfls with a small fan blowing around in there and the box not airtight- stuff it in a closet with the fan and light plugged into a timer, leave the box slightly open, close the closet door. Set the timer to 12/12 for about 2 weeks, then switch it to 'random' or just make up some crazy light schedule... You'll see nanners in a week or so. You don't need to worry abotu putting on a lot of bud, so you don't need a lot of light either, and since you are TRYING to force herms, you can do everything wrogn in this little box short of killing the plant.

Good luck!
