Does Gaining wieght affect THC leaving your body?

Hey all, well I waited a while before I signed up again for another trucking company, and of course I'm going to get DOT tested. I had stopped smoking late feb. Before then I was kind a heavy smoker, about 2-3 joints in bong hits or so. Then mid march I smoked a very, very small hit from a bong, then 2 weeks later did the same. Now I haven't smoked since that, but I have gotten..well bigger. So I wanna know if gaining weight affects the THC from leaving your system and if I'm good to pass or not. I test Monday.

retired longhaul trucker here ... you should pass OK, couple smokes a month, probably won't accumulate in your body enough to trigger the test ... THC stores itself in fat cells, that's why high levels of exercise help dissipate the THC concentrations ... BUT, if you're gonna be a truckdriver, you need to QUIT smoking pot ... sooner or later the tests will catch up to you, hopefully before you find yourself and others, in an emergency situation ... good luck :smokin:

Yeah its pretty risky smoking and being a super trucker. if the cirscunmstances arrive that you've been in a bad accident and injured and they take you to a hospital they'll be testing you pretty thoroughly. Randoms held at rest areas and scales are really easy to beat though if you're prepared with the QF.

well I haven't smoked since that last time I mentioned, so I should be fine?

I would say you'll pass OK, with that length of time passed ... it's all about 'accumulated levels', (as it was explained to me by a 'professional pisspot holder' with a phD) ... occasional use usually won't trigger it ... as previously mentioned, the typical 'scans' aren't real scientific, but 'post-accident testing' is usually very thorough, they'll spend the $$ for the high-tech test ... I had to piss-test immediately once, because an old lady scraped my properly-parked truck, while I was inside the warehouse :wtf: ... ANY incident, will require post-accident testing, the potential liability really has the trucking companies running scared ... :smokin:

I just took a First Check Home test and it said negative, so I'm praying the same will be for the test tomorrow's. Pray for a brotha!:thumbsup:
