First time grower, need lots of help! hehe :P
IDK...coffee just isn't right without donuts.
When they sprouted, if it's cannabis, the first set of leaves are round. After that...all the leaves will be the serrated-edge pattern we all know and love.
In regards to the seeds sprouting near the sides of the pot, likely they got pushed aside when watering. Happens often since unopened seeds aren't buried too deep, they often float, and care isn't taken when watering.
When circumstances warrant and I need to separate seedlings, I carefully scoop them out with a spoon, and transfer. Make sure soil is moist, but not wet when doing this. Occational minor root breakage, but the seedlings grow just fine. Don't pack soil too firmly, but try to eliminate air pockets. Refill pot after a few waterings if soil level has settled too much. I make sure to fill pot with as much soil as I can, allowing just enough space to add water and nutes.Rusty Trichome Reviewed by Rusty Trichome on .
