Please Help. (Lighting, Closet Design, Strain Selection)

    What it do???

I have two closests running right next to each other. Each is 6x2, and about 9.5-10 FT High.

I'm are trying to figure out if I could split each closet into two horizantal levels, with approx. 10 plants on each level.

This will obviously be a tight fit as far as aisles...So I'm are hoping to find a strain that does not grow outwards as much ideally.

As far as height goes, most of the 250s and 400w have ballasts that are the size of texas. if the ballast takes up two feet of space vertically, the plants will have no room

Obviously, Lowryder would be a great solution to this, however there are some yield issues with it...lol. Its obviously not a commerical grow, considering its a few closets....but a LB or two would be nice.

I think that growing lowryder on the floor level, and adding the shelf at about 4 feet will possibly give me space to grow higher quality strains on the second levels.

It will also make keeping the lights close to the LR plants easier....and We can purchase 2 250s and a couple 400w for the larger plants.

    input?

    thanks everyone!!

Yah, the closets are both seperate .. but next door to each other. So you dont think the ballasts would end up practically touching the plants if I used anything but Lowryders? I have about 10 ft to work with vertically.

    TY!!

The Cord From The Ballast To The Socket, Should Be Long Enough, So You Could Get The Ballast Out Of The Closet's.
Ya, You Have 10' To Work With, That's Great!!Roughly 4'-6" Each, Man That's Plenty Of Room!!!,,,,,,If You are Going To Have 1 Or So To Vegging Clones???? It Can Be Even Shorter, Where I Have My Clones Is Only 2'-6" Tall, Work's Great For Me, & There Has Been More Than 12,000 Clones Or Better Gone Through Them, Over The Last 10 To 15 Or Better Year's!!!

But Ya, You Are On The Right Track, Check Out My Grow Shop's In My Sig., & See If It Doesn't Give You Some Idea's!!!.....If I Can Help You With AnyThing???Just Ask????imp:imp:imp:imp:

in that size closet, I would grow 2-4 normal plants, per closet (you could use a couple feet of the available height for a small cloner shelf, if needed) ... grown properly, you could blow the doors off that closet ... and, grow REAL pot, not that Lowryder crap :wtf: ... P.S., you need LOTS of ventilation and air circulation, too, lights aren't everything, your extra height will come in handy for dealing with the heat ... good growing ...

If we do LR we will obv not have to veg though so that would be nice.
