    Living/Dreaming

I thought of this while smoking, I don't know if it is a known philosophical thought or anything of that sort but I'd like to share it with you.

I came up with the idea of that when you are awake, you are someone's dream. A person is dreaming you. But when you sleep you are now I guess "dead" or you no longer exist until that persons is no longer awake and goes back to dreaming which you now are alive again.

Now when you go to sleep and dream, you dream up someone just as they dream you up and they cease to exist until you go back to dreaming.

I don't really believe this but it sounds pretty cool

Man... ive read something very similar to this... it was said that when were dreaming we are in fact other person in other place (not of this earth)... And as when we are awake we only remember some small parts of all we dream, when we were "there" in the dreamworld (that is in fact other world) we could only remember small fragments of our life "here" in the waking world.
I also dont believe very much this, but i think (or fear) that it may actually be truer than we dare to think...

I believe dreams to be utterly real, because if they aren't real, then what are they?

I suppose dreams are just another way of perceiving what it is to "live," but in order to tap the vast power and meaning available to those who look it for in in that perceptual landscape (of dreams), you have to be really good at dreaming.

Just what it means to be good at dreaming, I dunno.

In Hindu thought, when we experience dreamless sleep we are merging with God, or Source. That is why sleep is so important, or at least that's what they believe. Because the energy of Source is more vital then food. They also believe that when we are awake, we are still dreaming, that is to say, we are not fully "awake", I.E. enlightened.

What if our dreams somehow connects with the cosmos or universe..........and thats how we really dream probably "knowing how to dream" could be possible with more knowledge of the universe imagine if that was so, that means we can tap into our dreams from space lol i dunno just a crazy thought

I don't feel like reading a wikipedia article right now so just trust me. dreams are not supernatural in any way. Its just your mind doing crazy stuff. Near death experiences for example are a way for our mind to put us at ease when we die. we probably evolved to have them because creatures (i dont kno if its just humans) have a better chance of surviving if they are relaxed in a near death moment.
