Hi, I live in the US, I've really been thinking about moving to Canada and living there permanently, I don't really like the US at all... My friend told me Bush has an act or something that doesn't allow anyone from 18-30 something to move to Canada, so we cannot draft dodge. Is this true? If not how do I "live" there for the 1095 days required to become a permanent resident. How do I go about moving there. I understand I need either know English or French which i know English fluently/some Spanish. As well as be 18 years or older, need the proper documents, knowledge of the Canadian government, take the test/oath, etc. Has anyone from US or really any other country moved from your home country to Canada and became a permanent resident/citizen. If so can you give me any tips/clarification, thanks.
I feel the same way,But not because of any draft,Im 31 and I have a bad back injury,but I keep looking at how little by little I get dissappointed in our country,I wanna leave andmy wife was thinking about going back home overseas to Tonga,but thats just worse.
So How would someone go about moving to cnada,I mean it sounds like a cool place to live.But Im sure alot of canadians are reading this thinking "awww sh1t,more americans wanna come to our land"lol
