Is it alright to smoke before going to work?
Yeh, I agree. Just the weed makin' you think they look strangely at you. The customers might but Boss's always look at you anyway and you're probably just perceiving it as a strange look.
Just do your work well and nobody will care. There's no dangers of being high in retail.:jointsmile:Big stinkin helicopter flow through di air

Is it alright to smoke before going to work?
Depends if you can handle it. I'd advise only a bowl before you go.

You have to be careful about a supervisor that says ganja is cool or o.k.
The last place I was employeed had one of those cool owners, he always said he did
not care what we did. Then out of the blue he said he would call the man if I or any of the other employees came in under the influence.
I think maybe he told us it was ok so he could find out who was puffin'â??The greatest service which can be rendered any country is to add a useful plant to its culture. â??

Is it alright to smoke before going to work?
Yeah this definitely depends on the line of work and your responsibilities. As a physical therapist I don't think I'd ever even consider it. I mean with all the proper precautions I'm pretty sure I could pull it off, but I'd feel guilty being technically under the influence while trying to help people deal with their problems and conditions. There's a great deal of people skills involved with the profession as well and I wouldn't want for one second someone to think I was high. But I mean if I was flipping burgers or a cook of some kind (I was breakfast cook in highschool at a morning bagel/deli store) then there would be no choice other than getting high before :rasta:
Stay high

Depends on the line of work.
Retail is pretty mindless stuff, so I don't see anything wrong with going to work high in that context. Provided, of course, you don't get too baked. Years ago when I was in retail I would go to work high pretty often. When you're on your feet, jumping between registers, helping customers, and answering the phones it's pretty easy to remain sharp since the work is more physical and social. I worked for a reputable, high end clothing retailer on one of the larger shopping districts in the world, and almost everyone openly smoked. I think it's the only way anyone can handle working in that environment for such shitty pay. I know my attitude was always better when I went in high.
I've moved on professionally since then, and now I'm an accountant. My current job just involves too many new day to day challenges to handle while high. Admittedly I tried it a few times. Discussing the finer points of taxing complex non-profit partnership structures with the CFO proved to be a little overwhelming. Company policy states I could also face termination if anyone found out I was high on the job. So, now I just wait 'till night time. Keeps the tolerance lower I suppose.

Is it alright to smoke before going to work?
i usually do, but only a bowl usually. just because i frequently wake n bake, so i usually wake about an hour before work so i am still a little high when i go in.
but sometimes i wake hours before going to work, and need to re-up my high.
and working retail is not too hard to do high. The toughest part is that the work i do sometimes involves me talking for more than 30 seconds about one subject, which can get hard to do, but i usually just stop what im saying, and just stare at what i am trying to say for a few seconds then i am able to just start back up. I mainly get my words mixed up and stutter, but that is a problem i am developing outside of smoking as well, though it happens more often when i smoke.
