I have my motherplant in a waterfarm. And I use a timer set for 15 minutes every second hour during the day, and half an hour in the evening and the morning (18/6).
The roots will grow rapidly through the drainage holes in the bucket, and down into the reservoir. So the plant will drink as much as it wants, and the watering will only work as
humitidy for the roots in the mediumbucket. I've had my motherplant for ages, and this works fine for me.
If you intend to flower your plant in the waterfarm, be careful with the size, cause it will grow like mad when the roots hit the reservoir. Good luck, hope this would help you a little.
indicafraek Reviewed by indicafraek on . waterfarm q's Just about to start first grow in a cabinet/first grow ever. Confused as to how to water. I've read that most people water for 15min 6 or 7 times a day...... How do you make that happen...?....timer, setting on the waterfarm I don't understand, water by hand....? I'm only using a single bucket and will only be growing one plant. Rating: 5
