    Spread your seeds

I've been thinking, and was reminded by another poster about this idea....
If anybody has a heap of seeds that are just regular, good outdoor growing strains or just any seeds really. Gather them up and spread them all over your town at the start of growing season, somewhere that won't get trampled lol. Plant it where the council has recently planted new trees etc.

Honestly, if everybody does this there will just be too much weed for the cops to destroy. What ya think?

It fails because no one gets it organized. A "half dozen" people spread their seeds, and nothing happens. "Pothead apathy" may not be a total myth! However, apathy seems to be the "normal" American attitude- so it may not be the pot.

Another problem with the idea is that stray pollen would ruin everyone's sinsemilla crop! You won't win friends that way!

I think you'd do better to spread the word, not the seeds. Education is where we will win the war on prohibition!

Teach everyone about the medical uses of cannabis. We all fear cancer, Alzheimer's, etc, and the price of many "traditional" medicines are breaking folk's budgets! (saw an old gal drop $400 at the pharmacy a while back!) Cannabis can replace (or reduce the use of) many of those expensive drugs! Click my link below for some inspiration.

HA!!! man... truer words have not been said... I've been coping with a bout of pothead apathy since jan.

I dunno... just couldn't care less...

But I do alot of biking and, maybe I'll do that spreading thing.. alhough that it seems such a waste ... the plants won't get the care... I dunno, never did an outdoor grow...

On paper it sounds like a great idea, but I would not have initially thought of that.

Imagine how many new threads CannCom would have about that.
"Ahhhh, WTF? I thought I pulled all the males!!!"

I agree that QUALITY information, public outreach, and personal testimony are crucial to changing the way the world perceives Cannabis as a whole. It's not just something teenagers do to rebel against society. People are beginning to listen. I think the mass planting of seeds nation/world wide would only add to the stereotype of rebellious teenagers. It's like "We are mad that marijuana is illegal so we are going to secretly flood the world with it." Makes me think of a version of the movie Hackers, but about bud. Haha . Actually, shit I'd watch that.

TheMetal1 has publicly claimed intellectual property rights to a movie concept, in which the plot revolves around a geurilla campaign to plant marijuana seeds everywhere from front yards... to roof tops.

Plant clones everywhere instead of seeds (if you have a ton of clones to waste (not probable))

Hmmmm.... Good point. Although the clones idea prairie said solves that problem. But then there's the problem of no one having enough clones.

Americas health care really does suck balls....

To naughtydreadz, I don't think the point is that they'll get the care or not, but rather the fact that they're there. They wouldn't need to produce potent skunk fuck bud.... Ideally they would just seed and then spread further the next season.

Ahhhh, bloody stoners bringin' me down!

I took it as him suggesting we just toss an abundance of seeds around our towns and keep our fingers cross they begin to grow and reproduce. I didn't think he was actually suggesting we plant them for our personal consumption.

I think their is a place like that it is called Humbolt!!!!!

I think it is a great IDEA if the US did it all over they would never be able to stop it.... Just make sure everyone uses FEM seeds only or female cuttings....

Yes, that's exactly what I was suggesting. Just so the feds/government have no choice but to give in.

Believe me, from experience, the feds/government/law enforcement are never going to "give in," and just stop enforcing every law they have the power to enforce. It is what they grew up wanting to be remember? I agree that it would make it more difficult, but I know that they would never just stop because it is too hard. It would send a message to all criminals that the police have a "breaking point." Do you think that if child abduction increased 100x they would just stop trying to make arrests?
    - I know that there is NO COMPARISON between growing cannabis plants and kidnapping!!! Simply pointing out that they are both LAWS and usually both felonies. Police enforce LAWS. In my opinion, the only way we can rest easy that our acres and acres of newly planted cannabis will go untouched by law enforcement, is to change the law that they are required to enforce. Plain and simple. As much problems I have had with law enforcement, I still realize that they serve a purpose. In order for the majority of the population to remain safe (which ALL Americans have the right to be) the police MUST enforce laws that our Government has put into place. It is not their fault that in between arresting drunk drivers or stopping domestic violence they happen to find someone smoking or stumble on someone's plants. It is their job to enforce the law, and by doing so, they are putting food on their dinner table. It is primal instinct that we do anything possible to survive, police are not immune, and they HAVE to arrest people to stay employed, make money and survive (as much as we disagree with a lot of arrests they make). Now, without going too deep, I have experienced serious flaws in the law enforcement and judicial systems first hand so I KNOW that both are not perfect. But... to me, the only way that we will ever get the police to stop enforcing a specific law that we disagree with... is to simply get the law changed.

Off to work. Stay and Keep
