Help, dont think my babies look very good
Tonight, will make a week they have been in root plugs in the bubble dome. Have misted the top of dome several times and kept the plugs moist. New growth is growing out the tops but the exsisting leaves are looking real droopy. Am I doing something wrong? Clones are sensi star. Have them under a 200 watt cfl about 6 inches above the dome. I take the top off for about 15 minutes a day to let them breath. Here are a couple pics. Any help from you veterans would be great.

They look a little wilty. You can give just a few drops of water onto the plugs, and then mist the dome and put it back on.
The leaves that were on the clone when you cut it will start looking crappy when the new growht starts. As soon as you see roots and vertical growth, you can start giving a very weak foliar feed of 1/4 strength grow fertilizer and put them in your pots or hydro system. Go EASY. Less is more.

i do have new vertical growth, but havent noticed any roots yet. i have grow big, should i use that? do i need to wait until i see roots coming out of the plugs before i put them into soil? oh, is foilar feeding when you spray it on the plant? thanks for your patience, guru stinky.

Okay, wait until you actually SEE some roots. Then put them in small pots (3" is a good size) that have extra LIGHT soil in them. For my first transplant of new clones, I really like to add extra perlite to the mix so they don't have any chance of sitting there soggy.
Foliar feeding is when you mix up your fertilizer really weak and spray it on the leaves. Grow Big will work; just remember mix it less than the directions, add one drop of dish soap to the spray bottle, and wait until the little plants are showing roots to give them any food.
np on the patience; that's what I'm here for!

i will be using ocean forest by fox farms. will this work, and should i add perlite to that? would it be ok to just mix a bag or perlite in with the whole bag of ocean, meaning would it be ok for when i transplant to bigger pots and into flowering? were you serious about the dish soap? thanks again

Yup, just one drop per quart. It keeps the spray from beading up on the leaves and focusing light like a little magnifying glass, and helps it stick to the leaf better. Would I keeeed about something like that?
Sure, extra lightener in your FFOF is fine even at a later transplant. Remember it has plenty of fertilizer in it, so if you use FFOF, go EXTRA easy on fertilizer for the first couple weeks! The perlite will also help you flush in case you over-fert by mistake.

man i hate to keep beating a dead horse, but how big or perlite would you add to a full bag of ocean forest? do you think the 200 watt cfl will be enough light for veg? gonna use 600 watt hps for flower.

Big bad bag? Bag bad big?
Mix it about 1/3 perlite and 2/3 FFOF. One regular sized bag (what are they,6 quarts?) should do a big sack of FFOF at a lighter rate, but if your area is VERY humid, try adding EXTRA perlite, up to 50% overall! This is also a good trick in COLD areas or in winter, because plants use water more slowly and the perlite will keep your dirt from going sour on ya.
Put in as many CFLs as you can before your temps get too high, after your clones are FULLY rooted and taking off, of course.
A trick to making the transition from under the dome into the real world is to mist them lightly with wiltpruf or SMC leaf wash when you put them in pots, or even put them in pots and then back under the dome while you gradually harden them off- lift the dome for just a short time and put it back on as soon as you see the first hint of wilt.
Now go beat that dead horse! It doesn't care; it's dead.
