anyone down with stuff like ravi shankar? he's the only real musician i know, but i love his music. I've got a cd with him and phillip glass playing a few raga's. I really like listening to music like that after i get baked. stuff with lots of sitar, tabla, sarod, and other instruments. Anyone know any other instrumental music like this? I know everyone loves the beatles, that song within you, without you off of sgt. pepper is exactly what im talking about, george harrison was a genious!

I love the music of India!
I used to listen to a lot of traditional Ragas (like Ravi Shankar), and I even studied eastern rhythms at the Ali Akbar Khan school of music.
Now I mostly like Bhangra, and post-Bhangra remixes (Panjabi M.C., Apache Indian, Jazzy Bains, etc.).
