depends on the weather and pests.
I would guess there is a high mortality rate...:greenthumb:

Have you tried it, what is your opinion? I think it must a pretty good k. i. s. s. way to grow. You see a lot of pixs Like above just posted. So,often you see endless acres of it growing in the woods. I guess, what kind of woods. Around my parts they put in irrigations systems (paid by National Forestry) and elaborate killing traps all around the crop (so if you enter, you may not leave!" So, I figure, they must have pretty good luck, or they wouldn't put so darn much trouble in it!

Yes, I meant they use those new "quiet diesel generators" and electrice pumps to get the water from the streams, etc. Use, generators for elaborate security systems, as well! I did read one that managed to find a forestry electry line going to a look-out, that one piped off off, but was so minimal, no one noticed the loss of kw's! These grows are huge. Propably, a lot going into fire right now in 'Big Sur' and North. CA!

If it rains regularly in your area the plant and leave it alone method works well, provided you planted in good soil in a sunny location away from pine trees (acidic soil).
Even with this method, one must still make a few visits to remove weeds, apply fertilizer (probably twice in vegetative, once in flower) and a trip to remove the males, etc.
The less visits the better, as trails are not as visible, stealth is maintained.
But this only works if it rains at least twice a week or so!
