2nd Grow. Few Questions

So i'm starting my second closetbox grow and i had a question about the strength of my fertilizer.
I'm gonna be growing one White Widow and One G13 Power Skunk (both feminized, woo!). I've got Expert Gardener for my veg state which is 24N 8Ph and 16...potash? i'm still not sure what this is. anyways the instructions for tomatoes (which i'm failry certain is the most similar plant nutrition-wise on the box's chart) is 1Tbsp per gallon of water per plant, so....how much should i be using per gallon of water for these two? not that i need to worry about fert any time soon, my box isn't even finished, then i got germination and a couple weeks on just water, but i like to plan ahead.

i ask because my first grow didn't go so well, and while i'm fairly certain that's from a cat peeing on it, i wanna make sure i got everything right this time instead of assuming i've figured out all the right measurements.

Well GeddaLiddleHI,

I would start small then increase dose over time. Next time the cat takes a piss just flush it out. But what do I know?
