I'm not an expert grower by any stretch of the imagination, plus I grow outdoors. But I am a practical person, and I say just go back to what worked the first couple of times (the tap water with high Ph). Who cares if it is not technically supposed to be good... apparently it may be good for your plants.

Sorry I can't give any explanation, since I know that is what you're looking for. But if you go back to the regular tap water... let us know how it goes.

Ok so I need help figerin out something. so in summer 2007 I had this small uuuMJ plant :D and I got it to grow great under 1 45 watt cfl light. then I flowered her while still small and that went great also. she had grown a super green branch on her while flowering. then harvest time came and I took only the buds off and left the green plant mater on her to try and re-grow her to an even bigger plant for the next grow. then after I got that plant to regrow into a scroged looking plant. then one day I took a clone from her and put Rating: 5
