Small Setup Questions

Hey all I am new to this forum and are trying to grow for the first time.

I live in an apartment complex and am planning on building/box a box to put in my closet. I was planning on building it but this site for a pre-made grow box, here is the link, i would appreciate any input on this box, http://www.buy-the-homebox.com/shop/product_family_homebox_xs.html[/URL]

My other question is that my closet is 2 ft. deep by 7 ft. long by 8 8 ft. tall. I planned on making a box with dimensions of 2ft.x3ft.x5ft.The pre-made grow box dimesions are 2ft. deep x 2 ft. wide x 4 ft. tall. Would either of these sizes be acceptable to grow 4 plants?

Would be the ideal size for a grow box be when the objective is 4 plants. I plan on also making a smaller veg. box in the future as well.

Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Beware of surprise maintenance and/or management inspections. Especially if it's in your rental agreement allowing them access even if you are not present. Smell is another concern in such an enviornment.

If you have the tools and skills, I'd build my own. Would measure the dimentions of the largest pots you'll use, and, giving yourself a few extra inches, build the light-proof cabinet to fit those dimentions. When measuring, remember the 3' plant will be in a 12" (or so) pot, making overall height 4 feet. (plus the distance between plant and light) Would suck finding out you're two or three inches too small, and can only fit two plants.
Keep in mind the larger the interior dimensions, the easier it will be to control heat. Smaller cabinets restrict the type of lighting you can use. (unless you use a cool-tube type of set-up.)

I plan on also making a smaller veg. box in the future as well.

You will need a carbon filtre ventilated box for sure but that is easy to sort if u can handle yourself around a toolbox.
250-400W lights, ventilation seeds and pots and you are basically ready to go.
