Dingy yellow perlite?

What the hell, friends don't look as spunky, something I should be worried about?

I can included a pic if its needed, but its just dingy..
any ideas would be great

is this fungus, I am seeing a lot of "fungus gnats" been reading up on that.. any ideas???????/

Don't worry, turning funny colors is one of the things that perlite does best.

Mine turns piss yellow as it dries out , but is nice and white again right after I water .
