5 weeks into flower and yellowing/brown spotsHi,

Have a dozen dp Blueberrys 5 weeks into flowering that are having a few problems. A lot of the leaves are starting to yellow and some are developing brown spots on them, wilting and falling off. The more seriously affected plants are the larger ones that are a couple of inches bigger than the others. The yellowing is starting at the bottom of the plants and working its way up. Any ideas what it could be? I'm guessing pH but could it be a nutrient lockout too?

 Cheers

5 weeks into flower and yellowing/brown spotsYour pH is too high and it sounds like a calcium deficiency or lock out. Get your pH down to 6.7 and give calmag with the next couple feedings, and you should stop the problem from spreading.

5 weeks into flower and yellowing/brown spotsThanks for the advice, just wondering if its the run-off pH that should be 6.7? Probably wont be able to get a proper pH down solution until the weekend, would apple cyder vinegar do the job in the meantime?

 Cheers:yippee:

5 weeks into flower and yellowing/brown spotsAdded some vinegar to the water (went down to 6.4 from 7.3) and got the run off pH down to 6.6, hopefully this will help! Took a picture of the plants also

5 weeks into flower and yellowing/brown spotsIt won't heal, but by keeping the pH and fertilizer level correct, you can keep it from getting worse, and the plants should recover.
Make up a foliar feed that is one quart of tap water, one drop of liquid dish soap, and enough 'grow' fert to make the equivalent of a 1/2 strength nute solution, and lightly mist your plants with that.
Foliar feeding is a good way to correct observed deficiencies while you are trying to solve the problem that caused them.
