help me veg my babies please

so far i watered them twice in the 6 days i had em .... i use a moisture meter pushed down to about root level. it reads about a 4-5 (0=dry 10=wet)is that not enough or to much for it. How much of the miracle grow would u say to add to the water? i use a 3L can with tap water that i let sit out to get to room temp. i have yet to get a ph tester for the water n soil.
    thank for the help :rastasmoke:

i think the 3-4 level on the meter is an OK time to water if its at the very bottom. Towards the top you want it to be pretty dry because that is where the water will disappear first.
I have not heard good things about miracle grow and cannabis and would avoid them if possible... Superthrive is nice to help build strong plentiful roots, and real beneficial after transplanting. I would recommend only using any additives once the plants are healthy.

Usually you want to plant into small pots to start. I hope those big ones have really good drainage, too.

Water with plain water only when the pot feels a bit light. Watch for your clones to start vertical growth, and for their lower leaves to start looking pale, and then start them on a 'grow' fert. MG is not great. Try a cannabis-specific fert. Chances are there is a grow shop near you. If not, you might be stuck with whatever they have at the local garden center. Do NOT use 'azalea and rhododendron' or 'orchid' or 'acid-loving plant' food!!!

so i woke up this morning, went to check on the girls n wow they looked so nice n happy, i can actually see the growth happening...i will put up some pics tomorrow for u all. the clones were in 16oz cups when i got them i then transplanted it to the pots u seen, they have 4-1/2inch holes for drainage. what i would like to know tho is how to top em out. i need to keep em as short as i can (max 3-3.5ft) any higher is very very risky. Also what should i look for at the store to use other then MG( my budget's very thin!)

You need more light. . .you said you are growing on a balcony. . are you in an apartment with balconys above you aswell? i grabbed a bunch of clones this year too been about 3 weeks and what i noticed was that the first week was very slow not alot of growth second week plants got thicker and branches started to begin by the begining of week 3 i started pinching or bending as its referred on here and i have seen an amazing difference in growth in one day alone branches grew 1.25 inches i was shocked and am very excited i also grow on a balcony and get direct sunlight for more then 3/4 of the day so my results have been crazy

OK Here is a GH Chart for cannabis. If those are real clones they are Hungry. If you have a Hydro Shop by you go pick up some Micro Grow and Bloom and read LateWoods Thread and you will have buds....

    Good Luck GL
