Newbie Question About Nodes
You can PINCH at 5 nodes, but wait to take cuttings until you have enough nodes that after the cutting there will still be at least 5 nodes left on the main stem. You don't want to chop the plant down too far; it's stressful.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Newbie Question About Nodes I was wondering when in relation to Fimming or Topping. Do each pair of leaves that sprout count as one node? Or do you count each branch to the leaf as a node regardless of it being on the same level? Right now i Have my first pair, 2nd pair and i see the growth starting to emerge from the center. I see some people top or fim as early as the 3rd-5th nodes. If someone could elaborate this more that would be great. Rating: 5
