For the almost nonexistent risk and the great potential of understanding the forces of the universe which could lead to tremendous advances in technology, I say it is well worth it. If the worst happens, well this world in its present state sucks so like someone said "Flip the switch!"


so what's to stop these tremendous advances in science and technology from creating a gamma bomb, or a star sized black hole in the moon?
