I find it funny people think Obama will restrict freedoms, especially considering how the Republicans have stripped us of our freedoms these past 8 years.
McCain might be all well and good, but he is doing his best to immitate W Bush, is way to eratic, and has done nothing to remove the monkey named "REPUBLICAN" from his back.
Anyone that wants to elect McCain because he isn't as far right as Bush and most republicans, you know who else isnt like Bush? Obama!

I've said it once and I will say it again, obviously it's an urban myth that people that use cannabis are less susceptible to propaganda! Holy fuck! Or, there are people just posting here in the politics section that don't use cannabis that happen to be brainwashed!:yeahright:
If you want true freedom, then grow your own! Vote for Master Kush!
Dragon I get what you were saying. Maybe he believes the time is ripe for the discussion. Who knows, maybe he is trying to lose.
Either way, it doesn't really matter, he will win, in a landslide I predict, I know you disagree, I know you do too blueca....er I mean silkyblue, sorry your name reminds me of someone else. Just my opinion on McCain though. Not that I am really excited about it, but hey, at least he's not a socialist pinko.
You know what really scares me about McCain. When he talks about global warming. No it doesn't scare me, it pisses me off. I think that would be an example of him being a douche. If he believes half of what he says then god fucking help us all. If he is just talking out his ass to gain support from the left then whatever. That just makes him as I said before a douche.
Fuck'em both.:S4:

As far as what I've been doing over the last eight years - raising kids, working, prospering, being active in my community, and holding an elected office (not a high paying one, $150/month - it has cost me more than that in work that I've turned down).
GWB hasn't been the best President, but considering what has happened in the last 8 years, still better than the alternatives presented by the Democrats in '00 and '04.

This wasn't even a hard question. It was about why he approved Viagra be paid by health insurance, but birth control isn't. I wonder how he'll act when the really hard(non-rehearsed) questions come. I actually feel sorry for the guy!

the answer he said of given was HELL ya insurance should be paying for Birth Control..
I mean insurance will pay to have a dudes running around with erections for hours but wont pay for a woman to be able to control her reproductive ability as she see fit..\"All fathers are intimidating. They\'re intimidating because they are fathers. Once a man has children, for the rest of his life, his attitude is, \"To hell with the world, I can make my own people. I\'ll eat whenever I want, I\'ll wear whatever I want, and I\'ll create whoever I want.\"

John McCain didn't or doesn't make the call if something gets covered by insurance.. Hes a damn Senator! He might of voted for it, but dont make it sound like he's sitting behind a desk and is the guy approving insurance claims and requests..

Ha ha! That one was really funny! It's amazing McCain had so much trouble answering that and was so uncomfortable with the question. That was very wierd and painful to watch. I heard this was actualy a SUPPORTER asking this question. That's probably why they were so accomodating with the dodgy answer. OF COURSE, birth control should be covered by insurance.
