I transplanted a group of girls yesterday from 3-20 G bags. This will be their final shoe. most of the roots on the very bottom of the 3 gallon when transplanting looked brown and dead. The bottom was sort of brittle and caked together, if that makes any sense. The sides still had some nice healthy roots circling the containers. I wonder if this is old dead roots, or a real issue. Anyone recommend something i could do to give the roots a nice healthy bath...
Maybe a zyme product...i currently use nothing of the sort.
