IMHO, 'medicinal tolerance' is not the same.

There are many, many chemicals and cannabinoids in cannabis, in different ratios depending on strain and such.

THC is the main psychoactive chemical and is found in all strains, and a specific tolerance to THC may build quikly. When persons first encounter cannabis, they may experience a loss of motor coordination. This is quite common, and tolerance to these effects is the first to build. I only experienced abnormal coordination maybe the first 2 or 3 times, and never again.

Tolerance to other cannabinoids like CBD that cause the depressant effects may build very slowly in comparison to THC.

I have not been really 'high' in many months, but I still observe the medicinal effects of relaxation and appetite stimulation as well as the ability to alleviate insomnia.
