There's truth to that. However, I was only a weekly smoker, so I didn't rely on weed for fun.

Secondly, I'm 18 anyway, so they should give me the choice of how to use my time. I think the only valid point they have is the legal issues. I'm seriously considering just saying "fuck you guys" and choosing to smoke. The only problem that might create is that my car is in my dad's name, so they could take it away from me.

I don't think you understood what I said... SITTING DOWN with parents and TALKING to them, and having shit printed off, being ready to counter anything they say, even the argument for it being illegal.. theres arguments for both sides every time... just throwing out stuff like you said in arguments isn't the way to do it.... but what do I know... I wasn't in the same situation just years ago.
