Budding a mother
Flowering a mother after her clones have rooted is very common. Clones take about 2 weeks to show if they will be viable, whcih is, coincidentally, the amount of time needed for a mother to recover from cloning before she is flowered.

I have a plant from bagseed that I rescued from the window, growing in dirt currently under 4 40w flouro's (2warm, 2cool). I want to switch to an aero system, so what I wanted to do was to take about 8 clones from this plant. Root them in a bubble cloner, then grow them in the aero system. I don't want to have 2 veg rooms at the same time, so I was going to flower the dirt plant after the clones have rooted. I have not seen many people doing this so I Rating: 5
