Here is what I was thinking about doing.
I have a plant from bagseed that I rescued from the window, growing in dirt currently under 4 40w flouro's (2warm, 2cool).
I want to switch to an aero system, so what I wanted to do was to take about 8 clones from this plant. Root them in a bubble cloner, then grow them in the aero system.
I don't want to have 2 veg rooms at the same time, so I was going to flower the dirt plant after the clones have rooted. I have not seen many people doing this so I need feedback on it. Will taking clones from this plant hurt the quality of the flowering. I just don't want to cut down the plant after I finally got it to grow good under the lights, but I also don't want to run 2 systems at the same time.
What are the ups and downs of doing this?
