    What light cycle should my little ones be on/

    I believe 24/0.
    I dont want to over due the lights.

    a lot of the threads i searched weren't clear, to me at least.

    Up to you rely some growers leave their lights on 24/0 some 18/6 and some 16/8, somer swear that the dark cycle is important others claim that 24/0 makes them grow faster. I use 18/6 and it works perfectly (saves on the lecci too)

    No problem with 24/0, I used to do it. When I changed to 18/6 the decrease in growth was inconsequential. Vegging plants always seem to grow too fast anyway, but if I were growing from seed and didn't have flowering plants yet I'd go 24/0 to get them on the flowering table as soon as possible.

    This is just my preference, but I like to start seedlings out under fluorescents only at 24/0 until they have 3-4 sets of leaves on them. After that, they get thrown under a more powerful MH and the schedule goes to 18/6. Again, just a preference, but one that's worked very well for me in the past.
