    Should I? - Need Advice

Ok my plants are goin on their 6th week... about, maybe 5th. Either way, they are 10" now. I thought they would be a lil bigger by now, but hey... I was wondering.... Does anyone think I should go ahead and start flowering? I have a 250w HPS, for flower and they are under 7 CFL's now. I know they are a lil small but maybe its cause I topped em about a week ago. Ill post pics either 2marrow or later this evenin. Gotta get a good camera.

    Advice and Inputs Welcome!

i have been told it is best to wait 2 weeks after topping/heavy pruning before flowering. It gives the plant a chance to recoup and develop the shoots that will now have a stronger focus of the plants auxins-energy. something like that:thumbsup:

I have been readin, and a lot of what experienced growers say is to wait at least 1 week before flowering. Like allrollsin said. They need time to recoup and start their new shoots. Smoething to do with "light energy focus" You cant just expect the HPS to focus all it light energy on just a stem., and grow good shoots. You have to actually let the shoots get about 1-2" before flowering, so the light has something to focus its energy on.

I have already waited this long... I can wait til next wednesday or thursday?

    Thnx, for the input/:thumbsup:advice guys.

There is an article if you search High Times site. 12/12 from seed I think it's called.

As for the topping, I would veg a little longer to give time for the two colas to start developing.
Also remember the first two seeks of flower you will see a lot of stretch and your plant may even double in height.
