If you're tasting butane, then you need to first try holding the lighter's flame further away from the bowl. You want some space between the end (or "tip") of the flame and the actual cannabis... so the hot "air" coming off the tip of the flame lights your cannabis, but the flame itself never touches it. That way you get all the heat of the flame, but you also are making sure all the butane is burnt up *before* the heat gets to your bowl. When you actually touch the flame to the cannabis in your bowl you are inhaling some un-burnt butane that is still in the flame.

At least we know what a butane lighter gives off when it burns (CO2 and water). We don't even know what this beeswax, paper, and hemp rope gives off when it burns. At least I couldn't find it on the website.

It is all organic and i think it is hemp with a special wax. I am actually glad I bought the box because I'm already selling a bunch to friends. Its good stuff. Just go in on a box with your smoking buddies and you'll probally never go back to lighters. Well, except to light the beeline. the website is beelinehawaii.com Rating: 5
