Yeah they burn 85% ethanol for 30 years. They don't have to import a single drop of oil. But it takes a shit load of sugar cane to power the country.

Hydrogen is an immensely powerful fuel source, it doesn't waste other essential resources like food (as with bio-fuel), and there's been some ingenious methods that have arrived lately, allowing us to extract the hydrogen energy at a considerably lower cost/energy output. Here's the problem though: hydrogen fuel proponents brag that the only emmisions are water coming out the tailpipe. The way I see Rating: 5
