creatine
Once again, your sample cannot be flagged for high creatinine because there are no upper limits established for creatinine. If there were upper limits, they would be clearly outlined in the regulations set by the US Dept of HHS, which they are not, and for a valid reason: labs check the creatinine level to determine a diluted sample, or if a substituted specimen had been used. In making their determination, the labs look for low readings and low readings only for creatinine. Under DHHS mandates, urine samples with a creatinine level over 20 mg/dL are satisfactory. Urine samples with a creatinine level of 2 - 20 mg/dL are ruled diluted. A urine sample with a creatinine level less than 2 mg/dL is ruled a substituted specimen (aka "not consistent with human urine").
