I too like you, grow in those underbed totes. but I'm using them w/ 3 in. net pots hanging in the lid in a ebb n flow type system... what I did to stop the light from getting thru the clear plastic was spray paint the outside of the tub and lid w/ black plastic paint then when completly covered I srpayed them w/ the white plastic paint to reflect the light on the outside but nice and dark on the inside for the roots... I might try panda film the next time, eaiser/cheaper

Tranoble(ONE COOL MF) 4 sure is a living legend in the CanCom world Shit he was doing this back in 05 and here we are copying it 3 Yrs later... I'm not sure if it is the clear bins because there are 3 out of 4 doing fine... I beleive the other is finally coming around I'm being optomistic... If what Tranoble says is true w soil yield Potential I will be more then Happy 4 sure...

I would love to see a tutorial on how you made up the Ebb and flow w/ the rubbermaid's... They are just like mine 6 1/2" Deep 3 1/2 feet long? I would like to do a home made ebb and flow job or a NFT system next time around... If the cuttings are not sufficent then I will just do a few WF's and ILL have more then enuff cuttings in 3 weeks...
