Hi to all that take an interest

I've been growing in an NFT system for a number of years now quite successfully. I am now planning to grow Lowryder#2 in an NFT set-up. I would like some advice on growing times including seed propagating times, at what stage to place the plants into the NFT system, and I am going to be using 3 x 200w fluorescents over a 7ft tank. Will it be ok to use red spectrum only? If anyone can see any problems or has any advice I would appreciate it.

Well there's a hundred variables that will influence the growing times of plants. You know way more than any of us about the particulars of your NFT system. If what you've been doing works for you, don't change it just because you're growing a different strain. You know what to look for.

For your light, red only will work but I'd personally get one 6500K or so, just for a bit more veg power. In my opinion it helps a bit during flowering, too.
