Miracle Gro.

"Some plants require or can withstand high levels of fertilizer while others canā??t. In general, predominately sativa varieties require less fertilizer than indica-dominant types. Many growers add progressively more fertilizer as plants mature. General signs of over-fertilization or toxic salt buildup include burned leaf tips, discolored leaves, and slow growth. Actual toxic signs appear about two weeks after they initially occur.
If you set plants up on a weekly fertilization schedule, make sure to flush containers every 30 days with 2-3 times the volume of weak nutrient solution (5-10 percent mix) as growing medium. This flush will wash out excess fertilizer salts that have built up. Also, make sure 10-20 percent of each irrigation drains out the bottom of the growing container to keep salt buildup to a minimum.

Miracle Gro is an inexpensive fertilizer that may not have everything your plants need. I suggest you change to a high-quality hydroponic fertilizer that has all the required nutrients. Such fertilizer costs a few cents more per application, and will avert many different fertilizer problems before they happen.

Change fertilizer from a high-nitrogen mix used during vegetative growth to a high-phosphorus/potassium super bloom mix when you induce flowering. Vegetative growth is maintained with an 18/6-hour day/night light schedule. Flowering is induced with a 12/12-hour day/night light schedule.

Water from a dehumidifier should be quite clean and good for plants. Dehumidifiers, like air conditioners, draw moisture from the air and condense it into liquid or water. When this moisture is condensed into liquid form, most dissolved solids do not precipitate. I recently checked the level of dissolved solids in water condensed from such a device. It ran about 20 ppm."

BobBong Reviewed by BobBong on . Is my top gonna be a flop? I have already discussed this with a few people, but would like to hear more views pls. 26 days veg. In 7.5 litre pots, 2/3 Miracle Grow ( also would enjoy hearing views on this ) 1/3 clay balls. Some grew lanky during germination/sprout stage under fluros. Some others started a little later went under 400w HPS straight away. The first batch are all 10-12" tall, the latter 6-8". My area is only 4' tall so with pots and space for light Im looking at approx. 3' or a little more. Rating: 5
